Jason Villalba Files to Serve District 114

December 1, 2011

On Monday, November 28, Jason Villalba filed to run for State Representative in District 114, currently represented by Will Harnett who is retiring at the end of his current term.

“I’m a Texan, a Republican, a conservative, a husband and a father.  Those aren’t just words to me.  They define who I am and what kind of leader I will be for District 114.  As a family man and a man of principle, you can rest assured that I will fight for what’s right and what’s best for our taxpayers and our families, rather than go along with the status quo,” Jason said.

With no incumbent sitting in the District, which changed boundaries during the redistricting process, Jason believes he brings the skill set necessary to create jobs, improve schools and reign in government spending in order to protect taxpayers and help Texas families.

“No issue is more important to me than making sure every Texan who wants a job has one.  As a venture capital attorney who has worked for over 15 years helping to build and grow small and medium sized businesses, I bring a special and relevant experience and understanding to this issue.  I know how to create jobs because I make my livelihood advising folks who actually do so,” Jason said.
